Interested in a career with us?

Before you start, we want you to understand what you'd actually be walking into, because this isn't a typical classroom, and we're not looking for a typical applicant.

We follow the Reggio Emilia approach, which starts from one core belief: children are capable, curious, and full of ideas worth taking seriously. Instead of a fixed curriculum handed down on a worksheet, the day grows out of what the children themselves are noticing, wondering about, and building - a found beetle becomes a week of investigation, a question about rain becomes a project about where water goes. The teacher's job isn't to deliver lessons. It's to watch closely, ask good questions, and help children go deeper into their own ideas - in a hundred different languages: through art, movement, building, story, and play. We pair that with daily life outdoors, rain or shine, because we believe nature is one of the richest places that kind of thinking can happen.

Here's the part that makes this different from almost any other job application you'll fill out: this program runs inside our actual home. The person we hire isn't just filling a staffing slot - they're joining our family for the hours they're here, in our space, with our children and yours. We take that seriously, and we want this application to feel like the start of getting to know each other, not a screening.  This should take about 10 to 15 minutes. If we move forward together, you will receive an invitation to a 20 question archetype test to help learn more about your teaching style, followed by an in-person conversational interview.

We appreciate you taking the time to introduce yourself.

Kindly,
Chelsea and Brendan
